26th Brunei National Day Celebration

Yesterday February 23rd, we (Sports School) participated in the 26th National Day parade which was held at the Taman Hj Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien in the capital. About 145 students, teachers and coaches took part in this procession. "Negaraku Brunei Darussalam" is the theme for this year's National Day celebration, which emphasizes on 'our country' among citizens.

GSF International Youth Camp, Doha

GSF is held in Doha at the Al-Rayyan sport club from 20th - 26th February 2010. ABout 170 youths (boys and girls between the ages of 11 - 13+ years) and adult coaches will participate from these countries Algeria, Bahrin, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, the Czech Republic, Fiji, Indonesia, Iraq, Nicaragua, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Yemen.

They will spend a week of fun learning, multinational team competitions in football and basketball, sightseeing, cultural exchanges and making new friends. At the end pf the program the participants will receive awards as GSF Youth and Coach Ambassador.

Two coaches, five students from Sports School and three students from other school involved in this special event.

26th ND Rehearsal

Yesterday (16/2/1010) our school joined the rehearsal for the upcoming 26th National Day 2010 at the Taman Hj Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien. The theme for this year's celebration "Negaraku Brunei Darussalam"

The next rehearsal will be tomorrow and on Saturday.

Farewell Dinner for TPS Cg.Khalid

On January 27th, all teachers, coaches and school staffs were invited to the farewell dinner for TPS Cg.Khalid. It was held at the Stadium Restaurant. He will be transferred to UK, working as Academic Coordinator.

Visit the New Sports School

Bengkel Periodisasi & Kejurulatihan

"Bengkel Periodisasi dan Kejurulatihan" di adakan dan di kendalikan oleh Jabatan Sains Sukan, Sekolah Sukan. Beberapa orang guru sekolah, jurulatih dan pegawai dari jabatan ko-kurikulum menghadiri bengkel ini. Ianya di adakan di Dewan Serbaguna Sekolah Sukan pada 14hb Januari yang lalu.

Kayakthon

"Kayakthon" salah satu aktibiti yang di anjurkan oleh Kementerian Kebudayaan Belia & Sukan sempena mengutip derma bagi Tabung Kemanusian Bencana Ribut Taufan Philippines dan Tabung Kemanusiaan Bencana Gempa Bumi Indonesia. Kutipan derma di buat sepanjang perkampongan di Kg.Ayer.

Acara ini di adakan pada 13hb.December tahun lalu. Perkumpulan di adakan d Bangunan Pusat Belia di Bandar Seri Begawan. Acara kayak bermula dan berakhir di Tamu Kianggeh. Peserta yang mengikuti acara ini terdiri daripada para belia dan di bantu oleh ahli kayak yang profesional. Untuk pengetahuan semua, 4 orang penuntut Sekolah Sukan menyertai acara ini dengan di temani oleh seorang guru.
