The Pencak Silat Duo

Staring 29th November until 6th December, Brunei Darussalam hosting the 3rd Borneo Games. Sabah, Sarawak, Brunei, Kalimantan, Labuan and Malacca (special invitation) joined the event.

Four students from Sports School joining the Brunei Darussalam Contingent; Eszarani Anak Sebab (atheletic), Hadi Saidin (sepak takraw), Mohd Nur Fadzillah Metussin and Mohd Fadzil Afifi Hj Md Hussin (pencak silat).

As a result, the duo pencak silat won on their Ganda category. The guest of honour, Sabali Abas, the Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, awarded the medals during the closing ceremony.

MOE Walkathon

On Nov 15th, MOE had organised a walkathon at Pantai Seri Kenangan Beach in Tutong District on celebrating the Teacher's Day. A few selected teachers from Tutong secondary schools were invited to do some aerobic session which led by a few teachers from Sports school and some officers from JPKK.

1st Sayembara Pencak Silat

On Nov 17th - 26th, the 1st Sayembara Pencak Silat tournament among schools were held at the Nokhoda Ragam Vocational School. The event ended on Nov 26th which concluded Seri Mulia Sarjana School the overall champion for Primary schools, Sports School the overall champion for Secondary Schools and Katok Form Sixth Cenrre took the overall champion for Pra Universiti award. The guest of honour was Awg Hj Abdul Hakip bin Hj Burut, Director of Inspectorate from Ministry of Education, presented the prizes to the winners.

Bukit Bujang Pahang Expedition

On Nov 24th, a few selected teachers and students went for hiking at Bukit Bujang Pahang in Kg.Menunggul. We took our school buses to go to Jetty Kg.Pintu Malim and then boats to go to Kg.Menunggul.

Outward Bound Brunei - Kayak Pt.1

On Nov 21st - 22nd, 18 students and 6 teachers from the school went for Kayak from Serasa Beach, Muara to Tg. Pelompong and spent overnight there.
1st - briefed about the Kayak
2nd - divided into two groups : Awg Semaun and Patih Tuba
3rd - learned how would we save our self if capsized ... scary oooo...
4th - kayak time :)
